Este libro tiene como objetivo capturar la esencia de un área muy importante e interesante de la gramática inglesa: La oración de estilo indirecto. El libro se centra en el corazón mismo de la oración indirecta. Cubre el uso de muchos verbos comunes "verbos informativos"; cómo "retroceder" los tiempos de los verbos; las palabras de tiempo; los verbos modales; las palabras para cosas y gente, etc. El libro consta de 10 unidades principales que presentan de forma lógica todas las áreas principales de la oración indirecta, desde los verbos informativos say y tell, hasta las preguntas informativas y resumidas, un resumen en dos partes: la primera parte trata de las principales estructuras informativas; la parte segunda es una tabla de los posibles cambios de los tiempos cuando se pasa de oración directa a indirecta, una serie de ejercicios de consolidación útiles y divertidos que verifican lo que usted ha aprendido en unos contextos más amplios, solucionario de los ejercicios y una lista completa de todos los verbos, tanto ingleses como españoles, que se usan en el libro (y otros).
